Our Mission

Enable the largest robot army in the world through intelligent physical AI for the US military.

Our Thesis

Building the Robotic Foundation Model for Defense

At Scout, we believe the future of defense will be shaped by those who master intelligent machines, and we intend to lead that future. Our mission is to enable the largest robot army in the world for the good guys. While adversaries like China are already building robotic autonomy at scale, the United States cannot afford to fall behind. We have the technology, the talent, and the moral imperative to outpace them, and we’re doing it right here in the heart of Silicon Valley.

The fundamental problem isn’t hardware, it’s intelligence. Robots aren’t pervasive today because they’re unintelligent. Most autonomy systems are brittle, limited, and disconnected from the real-world complexity that warfighters face. To unlock truly transformative capability, we need robots that think, adapt, and act with human-level intelligence. That’s why we’re building Fury, the first foundation model for defense robotics: an embodied AI brain that allows machines to perceive the world, understand natural language, and coordinate action autonomously across any domain.

Fury represents a new paradigm: a multimodal, mission-adaptive foundation model trained not just to talk, but to do. It enables operators to command fleets of heterogeneous robots in natural language, and empowers those robots to work together via shared language protocols. This is how we turn the current one-to-one model of warfighter-to-robot into a one-to-many force multiplier. Fury is the unlock that allows every robotic asset - ground, air, sea, or space - to become an intelligent autonomous agent working as part of a cohesive human-machine integrated team. We’re building Scout as a platform-first, partnership-driven company. Fury is designed to be lightweight, modular, and hardware-agnostic. We’re proud to work with a growing network of partners across the defense ecosystem, helping them embed physical intelligence into their existing platforms.

This is not just a technological race. It’s a values race. AI is the most important force multiplier of the 21st century, and it must be securely and responsibly developed by those who believe in freedom and democracy. At Scout, we’re bringing together the world’s best engineers to work on the world’s most important frontier. We are building the brains for intelligent machines, so that the good guys continue to win.
